Turkey Day in Western Colorado!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope everybody had a great day surrounded by loved ones, good food, and took time to be grateful for all the wonderful things we have in our lives living in Western Colorado. With the Holidays in full swing, we have a healthy list of events coming up. IF you want your event featured, send it in via email and I will include as many as I can!

Housing

The Holidays are usually the slow season in the housing market. Houses sit a bit longer and less people are putting in offers and closing on homes between traveling, keeping up with holiday expenses, and the business of the season. It might be the prime time to take advantage of a slow moving market as a buyer!

City approves funding for affordable housing project

The City of Grand Junction has pledged nearly $900,000 to help fund the first phase of a proposed 192-unit affordable rental development.

City Council voted 6-1 last week to approve the allocation last week.
