Octopus Coffee Closing on 11/27
A local favorite coffee shop Octopus Coffee which has been serving customers in Grand Junction right off Horizon Dr will be closing it’s doors on 11/27 after being denied a lease renewal. They are looking into other options but are seeking community help to find a new spot that both fits their business needs and budget.
New Pickleball Courts in Fruita
The pickleball rage continues to sweep the nation. Fruita’s Orr Park will begin construction on new pickleball courts in the near future to add a wonderful amenity to the community. Once completed, these courts will be available for public use. Other courts nearby are located in the Bookcliff Activity Center as well as at Lincoln Park.

CMU Basketball Home Opener
Colorado Mesa University men’s basketball team looks to open up at home this Friday at 7:30 pm. After an exciting and successful season last year, a newly rebuilt program looks to keep the momentum rolling into another great season.
